Terms of Service
1. Agreement
By downloading or using CatCoach, you agree to these terms. Your license to use the app is also governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If these terms conflict with that agreement on licensing, Apple's agreement controls. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, or use the app with a parent or guardian's permission.
2. What CatCoach provides
CatCoach asks about your cat's behavior and home, suggests likely causes, and builds a day-by-day training plan with short tasks, logs, and reviews. Your first 14-day plan is built on your device from templates based on published feline behavior guidance. Later rounds can be adjusted by AI only if you allow it; otherwise they are adjusted on your device.
3. Not veterinary care
CatCoach is not a veterinary service. It doesn't diagnose illness, prescribe medication, or recommend medical treatment, and it can't replace an exam by a licensed veterinarian. Behavior changes can be caused by pain or illness. If the app's screening flags possible health signs, or if you're worried about your cat's health, see a vet before starting or continuing training. If anything in the app conflicts with your vet's advice, follow your vet. In an emergency, contact your vet or an emergency animal hospital immediately.
4. Your responsibilities
- You decide whether and how to carry out each task, and you're responsible for your cat's safety and welfare while doing so.
- Stop any task that seems to cause your cat fear, pain, or distress.
- Give accurate answers. Plans can only be as good as the information you provide.
5. AI-generated content
AI-written content can be incomplete, wrong, or unsuitable for your cat, even after our automated safety checks. Use your judgment, and treat every plan as a suggestion, not a guarantee of results.
6. Purchases
Some features require CatCoach Weekly, an auto-renewing subscription, or CatCoach Lifetime, a one-time purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. Apple processes all payments and refunds. Subscription renewal and cancellation are covered by our Auto-Renewal Terms.
7. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the app or our server: no reverse engineering beyond what the law allows, no automated or bulk requests, no attempts to bypass purchases or safety checks, and no use that breaks the law or harms animals.
8. Intellectual property
The app, its content, and its design belong to us or our licensors. Your own information remains yours.
9. Changes and availability
We may update the app, change features, or stop offering the service. We'll try to give notice of material changes in the app. If we change these terms, we'll update the date above; continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new terms.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, the app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any harm resulting from following or not following a plan. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived or excluded.
